A healthy lifestyle is full of ups and downs. Life isn’t perfect and mine is no exception. Hence the It All Changes subtitle…
Healthy Living on the Roller Coaster of Life.
It all starts with a long climb – sometimes unnoticed – before falling into the terrifying drop leaving you screaming to get off. There are twists and turns, even a big loop or two right in the middle flipping everything upside down.

When telling my journey I’ve seen the big climb on the scale, often gradual and unnoticed, before life events pushed me over the drop into working on me and my health. There’s been loops, bumps, and a heck of a lot of screaming. You can read the highs and lows and lots of the in between. The in and outs.
Of course there are some pictures thrown in the mix because a picture is worth a thousand words…and I know a good post is about 500 words in length. Pictures can say much more than I ever could.

The Journey to Me is a wild ride but one that is well worth it.
The photo evidence of the changes still shock me.
As my body changed so did Fitness Journey with just as many ups and downs.

Hi, Cynthia! I’ve been looking around your blog, after finding one of your recipes (the crockpot lasagna), and I find it all very inspiring! I should do something like this, too–start a blog, chart my journey–as I’m in the midst of a lot of changes in my life, too. My health has been a big issue the last few years; I have colitis and possibly lupus, certainly a connective tissue disorder, had major surgery a year ago, and have had to change the way I eat, and so many other things in my life. But I have a problem with procrastination and inertia, and I’m thinking a blog might help! Thanks for the inspiration, and keep going!!
Barbara,
A blog is a great way to chronicle things like this. And it is great to look back and see how far you have come
