Friend Making Fall

I am back from Fitbloggin’but need to process all the events before I writing how I’ve been effected.

The sweet Kenlie hosts Friend Making Mondays each week. It’s been awhile since I’ve participated but I love these questions and thought it was a great week to join back in.

FALL FAVORITES

1. What is your favorite thing of this time of the year? Cozy on my couch with my snugging and a lot of hot tea. Tea is my primary cold weather beverage.

2. What do you hope to do again before Summer is officially over? Go kayaking. We moved very close to a river this summer but didn’t have a chance to kayak yet.

3. When did you last go on a hayride? In seminary about 6 years ago with friends. My hay allergy has sky rocketed so I can’t get within 10 feet of hay. I like traditional wagon rides now.

4. What is your favorite pumpkin dish? I’m allergic to pumpkin but, I have so many favorite fall squash foods.

5. Do you decorate your home for fall? Not really. I save my decorating for Christmas. But I do buy a few mini pumpkins for my office and kitchen table.

6. Do you have any hobbies that are seasonally specific? If so, what are they? Not entirely. I love to can homemade goods. Because its a long hot process my favorites are apple conserves.

7. Apple cider or hot Chocolate ? Cider hot with cinnamon and ginger. An occasional hot chocolate made with coconut milk and mint is fantastic though.

8. Are you a fan of football? If so, who is your team? heck yeah! I love football overall and watch any NFL game on. Good thing because I live the New England Patriots and Hunni loves the Philadelphia Eagles who rarely air in our region.

9. Share a fond Fall memory? Hunni and I went apple picking with Momma a few years back. Linvilla Orchards is gorgeous and we spent an entire day picking fruit and laughing.

10. It’s not fall until… Sweaters & boots. I love the comfort of a big sweater, jeans and a great pair of boots. I look at them longingly in my closet all year even though I love summer dresses.
