Some Other Workout

The “Oh my I’m too busy” excuse is pushed around a lot when it’s difficult to fit in a workout. I’ll admit I’m guilty. I am a fan of schedules so when my regular workouts don’t fit in I make a BAD habit of skipping out or skimping. It’s a horrible habit and I want it to go away…far, far away. I miss the days when I was losing weight and found a way instead of looking for excuses.

Back then dates were a perfect wasy to build healthy workout habits together. Now I’m rebuilding them in this new job atmosphere. I spend a large part of my day in a cell office only to escape for some errands and maybe lunch. During the busiest days I go straight from the office out of my uniform into more casual clothes for extra work.

Yesterday that would have been the best reason to skip my workout…I had to clear out storage from one of our buildings with things piled up over the last 7 years. Boxes and Christmas trees and school supplies oh my. I went straight from the office to the space changed and got to work.

But no excuses…especially since my weekend is changed up for work.

I chose to see this as a work out instead of mere organization. On with the sneakers, dri-fit shirt and Bondi Band.

Heave ho, up and down. Back and forth. Organized and a great workout. And then I fell asleep fast. Yesterday Zumba didn’t happen but a workout did. :-)
