Keeping it Curly

My hair has been the bane of my existence for as long as I can remember. It never did anything I wanted…ever.
Sure most women say that but I really mean it. My dear mother always had short hair so pig tails and pin curls were as fancy as we got in my home.

I’ve lived in super humidity; needed a bowl cut after a “trim” from my little brother; rocked almost every ridiculous 90′s style; and finally cut it short for college & uniform wearing in Seminary.

After graduation I grew it out and straightened it with a blow dryer. Or at least I tamed the frizzy waves.
The best thing to come out of anaphylaxis was my waves turning to full on curls. I’m a curly girl now.
