Today, I’m the big 3-0!
I’m excited for today…a day I didn’t think I’d see. I’ve already received some pretty awesome gifts from friends and family who know me so well.
I wanted my readers to join in the celebration. So why not give out party favors. I have gift packages for two lucky readers to enjoy that represent some of my favorite things.
Who doesn’t love presents?!
*Seriously…if you know someone, tell me. I do not understand the phenomenon.*
Note: It’s my birthday and I’ll give away stuff if I want to! And I bought it all myself. Enjoy!
The food!
- Drew’s Smoked Tomato Dressing – The best on ANYTHING!
- Pure Apple Cider Jelly – For sweet or savory meals. Or from the jar.
- Cocoa Mix (Hazelnut & Butterscotch) – For cold nights on the couch.
- And Tea of course. My Favourite Flavors.
- Ginger Chews
- Dagoba Lavender Blueberry – For a fruity flavor.
- Dagoba Chai Chocolate – Try this…it will change your life.
- Crimbles Macaroons – Tasty cookies like Samoas…minus the allergens.
The Paper!
I love paper goods of all kinds and these are those I’m loving lately.
- Colorful bound journal.
- Seven year Pen – Swiss made pen with seven year ink supply.
- The Fault in Our Stars! – Best book of 2012. Signed copy by John Green. You have to read this…and check out his videos on YouTube…and other books
.
There will be one winner for each gift set: the food and the paper.

Happy birthday, beautiful!!
My favorite birthday tradition (and has been since I was 19) is the birthday tiara. I try to wear it all day of my birthday, just to inform strangers and friends alike who the princess of the day is!

Happy birthday! Capricorns rule!
My tradition? It’s fairly new, about three years now. I celebrate by going snowshoeing in Bend (and drinking beer at Deschutes).
In fact it’s my birthday next week!

My favorite birthday tradition is going out to dinner. Since it is during a busy time of year with work, going out to dinner is definitely something to look forward to!

happy happy birthday!
i don’t really have any birthday traditions for MY birthday, but my group of friends from grad school ALWAYS go out for a dinner for each person’s birthday. the birthday girl gets to pick where we go & it’s always a blast. that’s one get-together that everyone makes an effort to attend so they’re always the most fun!

Happy 30th! I will be celebrating my 31st in just a couple of weeks. My favorite tradition is the countdown – even at my age. My mom, sister, and I have birthday ten days apart, so we always counted down the days based on mama’s birthday. I am so accustomed to it, that even at 31 (almost) I still count and can tell you that my Mom’s bday is in 3 days, sister’s is in 13, and mine is in 23. And this year the countdown is even sweeter because in 25 days, my SIL and her DH will be in a Ugandan court getting custody of a sweet little girl.
Thank you so much for this giveaway! My favorite birthday tradition is going to the bookstore with my sister. It seems really random, but we love reading and she never knows what to buy me, so she buys me the books I’d love to read during the trip on the day of my birthday. Another tradition I have is talking to my best friend, who lives on the other side of the US, on my birthday. We’re always so busy, so this is one of the days we make time to really talk (the other day is on HER birthday). And of course, my brother always gets me cupcakes at midnight on the day of my birthday.

Great giveaway! My favorite birthday tradition is going with my husband and 4 kids to a local Mexican restaurant. They put a sombrero on the “birthday person” and sing Happy Birthday in Spanish. It’s so fun that we go for everyone’s birthday each year!
Happy happy birthday! My favorite tradition is celebrating from my birthday (July 1st) all the way through July 4th. Yes, I’m one of *those* people!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
My favourite birthday tradition is dinner with my family (my dad often cooks for me).
My favorite tradition is having an ice cream cake. I never liked traditional cakes growing up and the tradition just stuck.
