Last Week’s Goals

  • Menu Planning. Okay, no go.  I make meals but they weren’t planned.  Need to work on this.  My plan for next week is set.  I’m hoping to stick to it and not make random trips to the grocery.
  • New Running Shoes.  I got new shoes on Wednesday.  After two runs in them I’m afraid they may go back.  My heels are sore from rubbing and I didn’t go very far. I love my Fleet Feet store because they’ll let me exchange them if they aren’t working.  
  • Pick a goal. I picked a few goals but don’t know if any of them will be the final goal.  I came up with another plan and I’ll let you know about that later this week.  It’s been great motivation. 
  • Read & Write.  My two books are almost done…my CD book and my paper book.  One good, the other not so much.  Writing is going well.  I enjoyed writing a few posts for friends, and a some important stuff for work.  I should spend a week doing this more often. 
  • Behind the blog.  Notice the new menus at the top?  There are other not so obvious things going on behind the scenes but I love the geeky, nerdy stuff.   HTML and CSS is kind of fun. Winking smile

This Week’s Goals

  • Follow the plan. I have a menu plan and I know how to use it. Smile  My work schedule this week makes it easier to get several meals made and therefore eaten.
  • Rethink exercise. I thought getting back to running would mean I could only run with a bit of strength thrown in.  My body rejected this thought.  Now I’m mixing and matching to get a workout I want and build up my running.
  • Enjoy the fall.  Peanut and Leo are dying to walk the trail and with the cooler temperatures we won’t die doing it.  I also want to take some pretty pictures of the foliage and pick more apples.
  • Unpack the boxes. We packed all our unnecessary clothes this spring because we were hoping to move.  We’re still here but the box is in the attic..and I’m getting cold.  I need tights and sweaters, STAT!
  • Goals for the rest of 2011.  Christmas is coming and I’m preparing now…of course.  Work calendars and goals are planned, now time for personal goals.  Fitness, food, and blog.  Oh and sleep..some how. Smile
  • Savings. Hunni and I have plans for fun and for paying off bills.  But plans won’t amount to anything if we don’t save some moo-lah, dough, cash.  Well time to keep the cash in the bank so we can spend it later.
