Raindrops on Roses

Oh Sound of Music and Julie Andrews, How I love thee.  You taught me to remember my favorite things.  I want to share them with you but I’m not Oprah so don’t expect any giveaways.

Wicking shirts looking like regular shirts.  I want to run errands before the gym but don’t want everyone to know I’m headed to the gym.  Cute and comfy is key…plus I wear them when not working out so my wardrobe doubles.

Snack sacks and snack taxis.  I’m always on the go and using more plastic baggies than I’d care to admit.  I receive lots of complements when toting my own treats and recommend them to anyone trying to green their lunch box.  Bonus: They look cute on the outside even if my date rolls are smashed inside.

Four inch ramekins.  Perfect size to create eggs for egg sandwiches or individual desserts.  My personal cakes seem so much more sophisticated when served in classic white ramekin.

Hand-me downs.  I hated hand-me downs as a kid because I didn’t get to choose…if it fit I wore it.  As an adult swapping clothes with friends is a joy to pick out the things that fit my style and then make it my own.

Occasional cup of Joe.  I’m 100 times more likely to drink tea for a warm beverage or a caffeine pick me up.  The rare times I can order a fancy coffee with coconut or rice milk I enjoy them.
