The Tough 50 Questions: 11-20

I’m refreshing on vacation after Fitbloggin’ before getting back to work on Saturday.  IMG_6584I thought I’d give y’all some more info you never needed to know.

Miss the first 10 questions…check them out.

  1. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do?

I stand up for almost anyone, so with close friends you better believe I would. If the criticisms are valid I’d listen but I’m all over them if the comments are distasteful and unjustified.  Kind of shocking for a shy, anxious girl like me.  But without friends , who do I have. group

  2. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

Do newborns ever listen?  I’ve tried to convince them to take naps and the completely ignore me.  If they paid attention, I’d tell them to listen and learn through life and be themselves.  But do we even listen to that kind of advice?

  3. Would you break the law to save a loved one?

Which law? I break the law everyday when I speed…shhhh don’t tell Momma…but I’m not to keen on things like murder or grand larceny.  I’d be asking my loved one Hunni how they he got into this mess.  IMG_5050

  4. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?

Hello!?  Have you met me?  IMG_4114I’m the definition of insanity meets creativity.  Throw Hunni into the mix and I’m sure we look insane but trust me we’re really creative. Or just insane.  You decide. IMG_4763

  5. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

Different than boys…I read directions. Open-mouthed smile Different than most people, talk? I’m not from one two or even three places.  My accent is a combo of the over 10 places I’ve lived throughout my life.  You’ll hear Louisiana, Spain, Germany and even some Canada in there.  Makes for fun conversations about where I’m from.
    The answer: Nowhere.

  6. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?

I’m weird.  That’s the only answer I can come up with.  I cooked a fantastic dinner for friends the other day and received odd looks.  IMG_1958Oh and running is apparently something you only do if being chased.

  7. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?

I would love to travel to faraway places like the arctic or the Sahara.  I love adventure and expanding my world view.  The things holding me back are the I have to’s instead of doing what I want to.
  8. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

I still have the copy of my teachers license for foreign language education.  It’s expired, I’m not planning to teach school again, and it’s just one more piece of paper to carry around.  Yet I hold onto it just in case and proof I passed all the tests.  It’s in some unknown stack of papers right now…but I had a panic attack the last time I tried to throw it away.

  9. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

I’d love to live in Spain, again. It is mi pais. torre I love the people, the food, the culture…it all.  There are so many things I never did while there and so many places I’d love to show Hunni. (source)

  10. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

I do.  I also have a friend who taught me a trick to make the elevator go directly to the floor I want.  It’s a super secret trick but works with most elevators.  Or you could just take the stairs in small buildings.  We had a room on the 24th floor at Fitbloggin’ so that wasn’t an option. Choose one question above and answer for yourself.  I love questions that really have no answers but require thought.
