The Tough 50 Questions: 1-10

These questions have no right or wrong answers.
Sometimes asking the right questions is the answer.

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Too old some days, too young others.
Today I’m an old lady who’s body want to sleep just as the fun starts.  Must fight to stay young!

  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying! I learned to love many things in my 29 years when I thought I’d fail.  Running, Love, Ministry, Blogging. Smile If I’d never tried how would I know this joy.

  3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Obligation.  I have to do many things even if I don’t like them.  When I step back and do what I love, I find the two don’t have to be at war.

I can love what I do and do what I love.

  4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I’m a talker…so yes.  If I stopped yapping and started doing I’d get a lot more done. But I am good at give orders to delegate. Smile with tongue out
  5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I want the world to know the love of Jesus Christ.
He died so we might live.
  6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Sharing my faith and offering a listening ear makes me rich daily.  Not in my pockets but in my heart.  Each day is a new day to live, listen and share as I grow. IMG_4417
  7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
I am doing what I believe in – making little money doing it – but loving every second.  Who wouldn’t love playing with kids, going to rock concerts, and a few meetings thrown in.

  8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I would have started a family sooner.  I’m almost 30 and children are still a year or so away.  Thank God the average life span is 90 or so. Until then I’ll enjoy with other people’s kids.

  9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
None, absolutely none.  Each time I tried to make decisions I realized there were better paths.  I love where I’m at but my 10 year old self would never have come this way on her own.

Notice the rollercoaster in the header…that’s my life. Hold on it’s a heck of a ride.

  10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Hmmm…very difficult.  I want both.  But if you make me choose I want to do things right.  What good is doing the right thing if you only do it half-way or botch the job.  For me, the right things will come one at a time as I focus on them the right way.
